My fee is $235 per 50-minute session, whether appointments are in person, online, or by phone.

Additional professional services—such as consultation outside of scheduled sessions, parent consultation for adolescent clients, form completion, report writing, or email and phone correspondence—are billed in 10-minute increments at the same rate. This applies when these services are initiated outside of a scheduled appointment, unless the contact is initiated by me as part of my professional duty (for example, duty to report).

Fees are effective January 1, 2025, and align with the recommended fee schedule set by the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (see link below).

If you have insurance coverage for psychological services, I may be able to bill your provider directly, if they are set up for direct billing. If direct billing is not available, or if your coverage does not fully cover the session fee, you will receive an invoice by email, payable by e-transfer or credit card (a 3% fee applies to credit card payments). A receipt will be issued once payment is received.

Receipts can be submitted to insurers that do not offer direct billing or claimed through a Health Spending Account.

Many employers offer Employee and Family Assistance Programs (EFAPs) that provide short-term counselling at no cost through designated providers. In Calgary, Foothills, and surrounding areas, community mental health centres and hospitals may also offer services that are free or available on a sliding scale.
