My fees are 220.00/50-minute appointment (in person, online or by phone). Additional outside consultation, forms, report writing, etc. will also be billed in 10-minute increments at the same rate, and this includes any parent consultation for adolescent clients (in person, by phone, or by email) initiated outside of scheduled sessions, unless initiated by the psychologist out of duty to report.

***Fees are set as of January 1, 2023, as per the recommended standard fee schedule set by the Psychologists Association of Alberta (see link below).

If you have insurance benefits for psychological services I may be able to bill your provider directly if they are set up for direct billing. If you do not have insurance, or if your insurance does not cover the entire fee, I will email you an invoice that you can then pay by e-transfer or by credit card (3% fee will be added for credit card transactions). A receipt will be provided once payment is received. You can save your receipts for submitting through insurers not set up for direct billing, a Health Spending Account or for tax deduction purposes.

Tax Deduction: For the purposes of claiming medical expenses on your personal income tax return, Psychologists are on the list of approved authorized medical practitioners. For more information, visit:

Many employers provide Employee and Family Assistance Programs (EFAPs) that offer short-term counselling through a specific counselling group at no cost to employees. In Calgary, Foothills and surrounding areas there are community mental health centres and hospitals where services are provided for free or on a sliding scale. As such, there are usually wait times for those services.

If you don’t have an EAP program, the EAP program Shepell·FGI offers a free EAP App, providing access to expert information and interactive tools. Please visit:

I offer free phone or email consultations to ensure that there is a good fit between client & therapist. Feel free to contact me for further information.
